1. The site

Fluorescent Eminence is a free information site run by an operator in Noshiro, Akita Prefecture, Japan. By reading it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Information only

Everything on the site is general information. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and it is not an offer or a solicitation to buy or sell any product. The operator is not a financial institution and offers no financial service. Read the disclaimer for the full statement.

3. Reliance

You are responsible for your own decisions. Check any important point against the official source before acting on it. The operator tries to keep pages accurate and shows a review date on each guide, but cannot promise that every statement is complete or current. A guide that has not been reviewed recently should be read as a starting point for your own check of the official page, not as the last word on the subject.

4. Links to other sites

Links to official bodies and other sites are references, not endorsements. The operator does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content or availability.

5. Content

The text of the guides, the layout and the style sheet are the work of the operator. You may quote short passages with a link back to the page. Photographs are illustrative stock images; they do not show real clients, staff or premises and are not offered for reuse.

6. Linking to and quoting the site

You are welcome to link to any page. If you quote the guides, quote them accurately, keep the review date visible and do not remove the statement that the text is general information. Please do not present a quotation in a way that suggests the operator is a bank, an adviser or a regulator, or that the operator recommends a product.

7. Use by professionals

If you are a teacher, a journalist or an adviser who uses a guide as a starting point, check each point against the official source first. The guides simplify on purpose and leave out exceptions, transitional rules and details that apply only to particular kinds of business.

8. Acceptable use

Please do not copy the site to present it as your own, scrape it at a rate that disrupts it, or use its name to suggest that a financial service is connected with it.

9. Liability

The operator is not liable for loss arising from reliance on the content of a free information page, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Japanese law, including under the Consumer Contract Act.

10. Changes and availability

The pages and these terms may be changed or removed at any time. The latest version is the one on the site, with the date at the top.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Japanese law. Any dispute is for the courts with jurisdiction under Japanese law.

12. No contract and no service

Reading the site does not create a contract between you and the operator, and the operator does not provide you with any financial, advisory or intermediary service. Nothing on the site is an invitation to deal. If a person or a message uses the name Fluorescent Eminence to offer you an account, a loan, an investment or a "consultation", it is not connected with this site.

13. Errors, corrections and suspension

The operator may correct, shorten or withdraw a page at any time, for example when a rule it describes has changed or when a page turns out to be misleading. The operator may also suspend the site for maintenance without notice. Reports of errors are welcome by email and are dealt with in the order they arrive; no response time is promised.

14. Severability and notices

If a part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest continues to apply. Messages to the operator about these terms should be sent by email to the address below; the operator will reply by email.
